Union Bank of India, Leading Listed Public Sector Bank with Head Office in Mumbai and all India representation invites ON-LINE Applications for recruitment to the following post. These vacancies INCLUDES THE BACKLOG RESERVED VACANCIES FOR SC/ST/ OBC AND FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

The selection process may involve written Test (ONLINE / OFFLINE) & or Group Discussion & or a Personal Interview. The Bank reserves the absolute right to decide as to whether to hold all or any of the modes of Written Test & / or Group Discussion & /or Personal Interview for selection of the candidates to the respective post.

The Bank also reserves the right to alter the structure of the written examination depending upon factors like number of eligible applications, etc. The Educational Qualifications prescribed for the post is the MINIMUM. Candidates must possess these qualifications as on 12.09.2011 (inclusive).

When called for the Personal Interview, the candidate MUST ATTACH TO THE SYSTEM GENERATED PRINTED ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM, PROOF by way of clear and legible photocopies of (a) UNIVERSITY FINAL DEGREE PASSING (CONVOCATION) CERTIFICATE.

(Provisional Degree Passing Certificate will be accepted only in case of those candidates who have passed the Degree Final Examination during the last 1 year, i.e., after the academic year 2010-2011 and the University has not conferred the Degree on the applicant) (b) YEAR-WISE / SEMESTER-WISE MARK SHEET FOR EACH YEAR / SEMESTER IN RESPECT OF EACH OF THE EXAMINATIONS PASSED from the concerned College & University, AND (c) COMPUTER COURSE PASSING CERTIFICATE in support the stipulation of having completed the Computer Awareness & Office Automation Course for duration of minimum 60 hours.

The requirement of having completed the Computer Awareness & Automation Course will be waived in case of those Graduates having Computer Awareness or Knowledge as part of the curriculum at the Degree level and this fact should be indicated in the Application Form and also evidenced by an duly highlighted entry of the subject in the relevant Mark Sheet.

THE CANDIDATURE OF CANDIDATES NOT FULFILLING THE ABOVE CRITERIA WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED AND THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PERSONAL INTERVIEW AND FURTHER SELECTION PROCESS, EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY HAVE PASSED THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION.

RRB Recruitment 2011 – 16595 ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) Job Vacancies

Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published the recruitment notification for the  16595 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies in various RRBs. Candidates have to  apply on or before 12-09-2011, (and from remote areas 27-09-2011).

The details regarding RRB application age limit, educational qualification, pay scale and others are mentioned Below :

Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200 grade pay Rs 1900/-

Age limit: The candidate’s age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2012, relaxation as per rules.

Educational qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent under 10+2 system and course completed Act Apprentice (OR) ITI in any of the following specific trades recognized by SCVT/NCVT. Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mill Wright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist and Refrigerator & AC Mechanic (OR) Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering recognized by AICTE in lieu of ITI.

Application fee: The candidates pay the fee in the form of Demand draft/Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 40/- (No fee for Women/SC/ST/EXSM/Muslims and other category) drawn at the main branch of any of the nationalized Banks in favour of Chairman / Member Secretary / Dy. Secretary / Secretary / Assistant Secretary of Concerned Railway Recruitment Board. The Bank drafts/Indian Postal Orders should be payable at the location where the concerned RRB is situated.

Note: Candidates should write the centralized employment notice no., name of the post applied for, category number of the post and their name and postal address on the reverse of the Bank draft/front side at the space provided in the Indian Postal Order.

Selection procedure: The mode of selection is written test/Aptitude test/document and candidature verification/medical fitness test.

How to apply: The eligible and qualified candidates have to apply through either online or offline mode.

Offline Application Form: The eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format given in the advertisement, a recent passport size photographs should be pasted on the application form, along with self attested Xerox copies of all necessary certificates and Demand draft/Indian Postal Order (IPO) to the respective address on or before 12-09-2011, (For remote areas 27-09-2011).
