Ed.cet 2011 from today – Busy schedule to certificate verification and Web counselling: Edcet admissions in to Mathematics, Physical science, Biological science, Social studies, English subjects certificate verification start from today 25 August and Web counseling in http://edcet.apsche.ac.in start from 26 August. Before entering web options check college codes and course codes thoroughly. Prepare college codes and course codes in the order of preference before entering into web. Do not give options casually in which you are not interested. Use fast internet like broadband, avoid using slow internet facility. Seat allotments will be made in the order of preference of options and exercise utmost care while entering options. Edcet seat allotments will be made in the rank order.Allotment made in the web counseling is final and cannot be altered under any circumstances. Therefore only such colleges and courses that candidate will join with out any hesitation should be chosen. APSCHE not responsible for any technical or human errors from Student side while exercising options. Don’t reveal Scratch Card Number and password to others.

PGECET 2011 Admissions Notification

In this post you will get updates regarding PGECET 2011 and PGEC 2011 Admission and counseling schedules. The official notification for PGECET 2011 and PGEC 2011 is still not available. Once it is out we will provide complete details regarding to admissions. But if you want to know more about the previous year counseling schedules and dates then continue reading.

Last year i.e. 2010 the PGECET/PGEC admission procedure is conducted online via www.appgecet.nic.in.
Candidates have to verify their certificates online via help centers. The certificate verification process was started very lately i.e. on 28.10.2010 and ended on 30.10.2010. With in these 3 days all the candidates including GATE qualified and PGECET qualified have to verify their certificates.

After verification the dead line for options entry was 31.10.2010. Allotment Oder was placed on the official site on 3.11.2010. Candidates have to just download the allotment order and report it to their corresponding college.

Processing fee for Certificate Verification:
Candidates belonging to open category and Backward classes have to pay processing fee of Rs.600/- and Candidates belonging to SC/ST have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- in favour of APSCHE Hyderabad.

Tution Fee per Annum/Semester:
Tution Fee in University Colleges is Rs.15,000-Rs.25,000 per semester.
Tution Fee in University Colleges( Self Finance Course) Rs.57,000 per annum.
Tution Fee in private unaided Colleges is Rs.57,000 per annum.

The above tution fee is to be paid in the favour of Convenor, PGECET 2010,Admissions Hyderabad. Last year there is a benefit. Candidates whose parental income is below 1 lakh from all sources are exempted from paying tution fees subject to some conditions by Govt.

Update: 24-07-2011 This year PGECET counseling may going to start somehow early in August second week. Also there is a bad news for students who are going to take admission via PGECET. According to news published in EENADU daily government is planning to stop fee reimbursement program.
